Hapner and Langford Halls, completed 2013

Two of the University’s large dormitories, built in 1959 and 1960 respectively, were part of a $7 million dollar renovation project in which all of the public and shared spaces were renovated according to designs by Mosaic Architecture. New additions were also constructed at the entries to both dorms creating larger “living room” spaces for the residents, new communal kitchens, and enhanced security. The new additions also give the dormitories new identities that connect them to current student expectations without conflicting with the original character of the buildings.
