Kinko’s store build-outs in the Chicago area
My experience includes the design and build-out of 28 Kinko’s stores in the greater Chicago area. The Kinko’s work started out doing one-off stores designed to uniquely suit the buildings in which they were located. Later, the stores were designed around a standard palette of cabinetry and display fixtures.

Mail Center – A continuation of the language of the blue soffit, with angled brightly painted accent walls below contain the mail center.
Sales Counter with Self Serve Area Beyond – A series of wall elements and dropped soffit, painted blue, serve to organize the customer service and self serve areas at the front of the store.
Organizing Walls – A series of “frames”, drywall walls and soffits, organize the space as well as provide spaces for individual services.
