]]> A new apartment building was designed on a site on the west side of Chicago, bordering Oak Park which is the birthplace of Prarie Style architecture and many buildings by Frank Lloyd Wright. The apartment building is entered at the corner of the site, with an inner courtyard where garages and tenant parking are located. The design incorporates many elements associated with Prarie Style design.

Designed by CommaQ Architects with Hennebery/Eddy Architects, the building will be a showcase for the MSU campus, providing technologically advanced classrooms, generous public gathering spaces, and is largely heated and cooled through the use of geothermal energy. The building is on track to achieve LEED Gold.
