Front of building before remodel
Front of building after renovation - The colonnaded entry of the original home was retained and identifies the “family” entrance. The shingled exterior of the remodeled house retains the shingles that characterized the original house.
Rear of building before renovation.
Rear of building after renovation - The sloping lot allowed the original ranch house a full walkout basement across the rear. The remodeling also takes advantage of the additional level with the addition of a two story porch, allowing informal dining behind the family room.
Left Front – The left end of the house became the location for the formal front entry, identified by a columned entry porch with arched roof.
